California's Drought Could be Worst in State's History

On April 22nd, Gov. Gavin Newsom extended and emergency drought order for 41 California counties. According the the United States drought monitor, 73% of California falls into a "severe" drought category. California relies on the wet years to supply water for the dry years. The drought from 2012-2016 was the warmest and driest drought California has seen, The current drought could be worse.
