San Francisco Homeless Impacting Water Quality

Federal EPA officials have issued a warning the California Governor, Gavin Newsom, stating the growing concern of pathogens that could contaminate water runoff with untreated human waste due to the growing homeless problem in San Francisco. On top of the concerns for water runoff, the EPA is requiring a written response from California on how they plan to deal with the more than one billion gallons of sewage and stormwater annually into the bay. Governor Newsom claims this is an attack from the EPA toward California.
